Education is the mortar that bonds humanity's past, present, and future. Educators are the stewards of knowledge that perpetuate humanity's knowledge for future generations. My concern is the adaptability of our current education system, nationally and globally. Since the dawn of the Information Age, global societies have become more aware of a plethora of knowledge, once unknown. The research in Diversity Awareness in Education - A Socially Just Education for All, is attempting to address the necessity to develop a framework for per-service teachers to have the opportunity to become aware of the spectrum of diversity that is present in the classroom, school, and community.
