This professional development is approximately 50 minutes long and provides a base to develop an awareness of the complexity of inclusiveness.
Diversity Awareness in Education

The professional development provides the genetic epistemology of Universal Design for Learning by providing awareness of the seven elements of universal design and the conceptualization, design, and implementation of Universal Design for Learning in the classroom. Indian Education for All & Culturally Responsive Practices
This professional development brings awareness to Montana's approach to cultural responsiveness toward the Indigenous Peoples within the state. Montana's 1972 Constitution mandates Indian Education for All (IEFA) to be taught in all k-12 public education settings. It provides the legal parameters for all educators within the state to conceptualize, design, and implement culturally responsive curricula. The seven culturally responsive practices provide the framework to develop the lens necessary to create a culturally relevant educational experience for all students. This professional development is approximately 55 minutes or can be modified for 110 minutes in length provides an awareness of Indian Education for All and culturally responsive practices.
